Saturn is very proud to announce that we have successfully incorporated Andromeda, our real-time satellite guidance, navigation and control (GNC) software, on a tiny processor (Arduino Nano ESP32) running FreeRTOS. This processor available for only $20 (Andromeda not included). Saturn will in 2024 develop a space grade single board computer to open up an incredible amount of possibilities in developing extremely low cost micro satellites which are capable of real time maneuvers independently or in a coordinated swarm. Combined with appropriate propulsion systems and sensors, even Cubesats will now be able to avoid collision with other satellites and debris in Space as well as dramatically extend their missions in low earth orbit.
